Careddi Supercritical fluid co2 extraction systems, made by material Stainless Steel 304 or 316, use carbon dioxide as solvent, which is safer, cleaner and purer. CO2 is pumped through a closed loop system, converting CO2 from gas state to liquid state, and then back to gas state again. Using CO2 high pressure pump, CO2 is pumped through Extraction vessel where it becomes liquid and extracts oils. Then liquid CO2 and oil flow to Separation vessel during which CO2 is decompressed, converting back to gas state again. By using our system for cannabis and hemp extraction, biomass should be dried and ground up into powder for better extraction.

Careddi cannabis extraction equipments and steps as hereunder mentioned.
1st step. Supercritical co2 extraction equipment CBD crude oil extraction
Supercritical co2 extraction machine, use CO2 as solvent, to extract CBD crude oil from cannabis biomass. By using supercritical co2 extraction machine, to extract dried hemp powder, to get CBD paste, or called CBD crude oil, and with post processing can get CBD full spectrum oil or CBD isolate.
2nd Step. Ultra-low temperature for CBD crude oil Winterization
Winterization, by using ultra-low temperature freezer, is a process to remove undesirable elements (for example, fats, waxes, and lipids) in CBD paste or CBD crude oil, which extracted by supercritical co2 extraction machine.
Mixing CBD crude oil with ethanol or alcohol in a certain rate, stirred vigorously until completely mixed, and place in ultra-low temperature freezer for 24hours, can get a cloudy state mixture.
3rd Step. Vacuum filter for Filtration
To use vacuum filter, remove undesirable elements.
Put filter paper in the filter machine, and by vacuum pump, the needed oil(CBD oil and ethanol mixture) will go through filter paper into a container, while the undesirable elements will leave in the filter paper, like a cake.
4th Step. Rotary evaporator for Ethanol Removing and recovery
This step, to remove and recovery ethanol from CBD oil after filtration.
Put the CBD oil into rotary evaporator, and in certain heating temperature and evaporation, ethanol will be remove from CBD oil, and be recycled in another container, the recycled ethanol can be reused, this step, can save and recycled a lot of ethanol.
5th Setp. Short path distillation for CBD oil refinery and get CBD full spectrum oil
To get high purity, high valued CBD full spectrum oil, by using short path distillation equipment, or also called molecular distillation equipment.
Further refine CBD oil, oil goes through Short Path Distillation, after heating, each compound is then separated, because each compound has different boiling point. In this way, each compound can be separated, we can get CBD full spectrum oil.
6th Step. HPLC system to separate THC from CBD oil
THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), is another cannabinoid derived from hemp or cannabis plant.
Different from CBD, THC has psychoactive effects, and that lead to its status as a controlled substance in many countries worldwide.
THC can produce a sense of euphoria, or a "high" in the brain.
The limit for THC content in cannabis-derived products is currently 0.2 % in EU countries, 0.3 % in Canada and set at similar levels around the world, meaning that removal of THC from CBD is a requirement for commercialization.
After research, Careddi found that by using HPLC system, we can remove THC from CBD oil.
7th Step. Nutsche filter dryer to make CBD isolate or crystal
CBD isolate is a crystalline solid or powder comprising pure. The process leaves behind pure CBD in crystal form, or powder state, to make cannabis concentrates easier to consume.
